What does Santa Teresita teach us about the child Jesus?

She teaches us a way to reach God: simplicity of soul. Do our daily tasks for the love of God. Have details of love with those around us. This is the «greatness» of Santa Teresita. She used to say: “I want to spend my heaven doing good on earth.” The secret is to recognize our littleness before God, our Father. Having a child’s attitude when loving God, that is, loving him with simplicity, with absolute confidence, with humility serving others. This is what she calls her “little path”. It is the path of spiritual childhood, a path of trust and absolute surrender to God.

She teaches us to serve others with love and perfection, seeing Jesus in them. Her entire life was of service to others. Be better every day with others in the details of every day.

She teaches us to be patient in the face of life’s difficulties. Her illness required a lot of patience and acceptance. Only by being close to God does suffering become sweet.

She teaches us to have a sense of humor in the face of the inevitable. They say that during meditation in the convent, one of her sisters waved her rosary and this irritated Saint Teresita. She decided then instead of trying not to hear anything, to listen to this noise as if it were beautiful music.
