Scientists developed a brain scanner that could help the people totally paralyzed to recover the speech, because the gadget you can deduce letters of the alphabet to form words from their thoughts

…………

The appliance uses systems of magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to help the patients to choose among 27 characters

………..

Each character generates a different pattern of blood flow to the brain, and the scanner knows how to interpret these patterns

………….

This is the case with the neuroscientist Adrian Owen, who use fMRI to help a man, in a vegetative state for five years, to answer «yes» or «no» to questions by interpreting their brain activity

… … …… «

This new appliance is a new alternative communicative toward the independence of those motoramente disabled», he assured the BBC Bettina Sorger of the University of Maastricht in The Netherlands and researcher of the project.

………..

«This system of communication will make a big difference in the quality of their lives and their families. Is the type of technology can only improve, it is very exciting
