Drought threat in East Africa (BBC)

 

The harsh realities of climate change are

 

decimating parts of East Africa where drought has

meant millions now face hunger and

 

malnutrition and cattle are dying.

Worst hit are Kenya, Somalia and northern Uganda.

The situation has worsened with a lack of rainfall in November and today International aid agency Oxfam is calling for more funds to boost aid for those affected.
