Rusia y Turquía han llegado a un acuerdo sobre la ruta que seguirá el tendido del nuevo gasoducto que llevará gas ruso a Europa pasando por el territorio de estos países y evitando a Ucrania. RT les presenta esta infografía con los detalles del sistema de gasoductos rusos en Europa.

Rusia y Turquía están acordando los detalles del nuevo gasoducto que pasará bajo el Mar Negro y surcará territorio turco para transportar el gas ruso a Europa sin pasar por Ucrania.

Este martes 27 de enero ambos países han acordado el trayecto de la primera parte del nuevo gasoducto con una capacidad de 15.750 millones de metros cúbicos, y cuya terminación está prevista para diciembre de 2016, según la estatal rusa Gazprom. La capacidad del gasoducto completo será de 63.000 millones de metros cúbicos al año.

Los 660 kilómetros del nuevo gasoducto coincidirán con la ruta previsto según el proyecto suspendido del gasoducto South Stream, mientras que los otros 250 kilómetros pasarán por territorio turco en dirección a Grecia. Rusia pagará y realizará la construcción de la parte que pase bajo el Mar Negro, mientras que los trabajos en el territorio turco serán financiados por ambos países: por Gazprom en el caso de Rusia y por la empresa estatal turca Botas. Las empresas aún tienen que negociar sus cuotas de financiación.

El nuevo gasoducto debe reemplazar al South Stream, que planeaba pasar por territorio de Bulgaria. El proyecto de South Stream, cuyo objetivo era sustituir hasta dos terceras partes del gas que ahora Rusia está transportando por Ucrania, fue suspendido por el presidente ruso Vladimir Putin el pasado 1 de diciembre debido a la oposición de parte de la UE.
