En Oriente Próximo se ha empezado a formar una ‘internacional’ terrorista en torno al Estado Islámico, según el director del Servicio de Seguridad estatal (FSB) de Rusia.

El director del Servicio de Seguridad estatal (FSB) de Rusia, Alexánder Bórtnikov, ha advertido de que la situación en Oriente Próximo es muy peligrosa debido a la actuación de los milicianos del grupo Estado Islámico en la zona, informa ‘Interfax’.

«En Oriente Próximo […] se ha empezado a formar una ‘internacional’ terrorista alrededor del Estado Islámico. Sus miembros adquieren experiencia de combate en Irak y Siria, y luego vuelven a sus países como instructores, reclutadores, predicadores y especialistas en la creación de redes militantes secretas, que mantienen unas relaciones estrechas con la estructura ‘madre'», ha asegurado Bórtnikov en una reunión del Consejo de los directores de los órganos de seguridad y los servicios especiales del CIS.

Asimismo, el director del FSB ha expresado su preocupación por la posibilidad de que otras organizaciones terroristas puedan aprovechar la experiencia del Estado Islámico, entre ellos, los talibanes. «La terminación de operaciones militares de EE.UU. y el Reino Unido en Afganistán y la retirada de las fuerzas internacionales de asistencia para la seguridad aumentan de forma significativa los riesgos de que los terroristas se activen en Afganistán y de que la geografía de su actividad se extienda a las repúblicas centroasiáticas del CIS», opina Bórtnikov.
