Raising of Lazarus

 And having said this, he cried out with a loud voice: Lazarus, come out!

 And he that had died came out, his hands and feet bound with bandages, and his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them: Untie him, and let him go.

 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After dismissing the people, he went up the mountain to pray alone. At nightfall, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already quite far from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it.

25 Early in the morning, Jesus came to them walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified.

«He’s a ghost!» They screamed in fear.

 But Jesus immediately said to them:

«Calm down!» It’s me. Do not be afraid.

 «Lord, if it is you,» Peter answered, «command me to come to you on the water.»
 «Come,» Jesus said.

Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he felt the strong wind, he was afraid and began to sink. Then he yelled:

«Lord, save me!»

 Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and seized him and rebuked him:

«Man of little faith!» Why did you hesitate?

 When they got into the boat, the wind died down.

Curse of the Barren Fig Tree
