Seg\u00fan el analista<\/a>, la contradicci\u00f3n principal del capitalismo moderno es entre la posibilidad de una transmisi\u00f3n gratuita de los bienes, principalmente la informaci\u00f3n, y el sistema de monopolios, bancos y gobiernos, que tratan de mantener estos bienes en privado y obtener beneficios comerciales. La sustituci\u00f3n del capitalismo por el poscapitalismo ser\u00e1 acelerada, no solo por esta contradicci\u00f3n del sistema, sino tambi\u00e9n\u00a0por las externalidades: el agotamiento de la energ\u00eda, el cambio clim\u00e1tico, el envejecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n y la migraci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

El poscapitalismo es posible debido a tres grandes tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n que han dado lugar a cambios en los \u00faltimos 25 a\u00f1os, opina el economista brit\u00e1nico.<\/span><\/p>\n

En segundo lugar,\u00a0la informaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 corroyendo la capacidad del mercado para formar los precios correctamente. Eso es porque los mercados se basan en la escasez, mientras que la informaci\u00f3n es abundante. El mecanismo de defensa del sistema es formar monopolios \u2014gigantes empresas de tecnolog\u00eda\u2014 en una escala nunca vista en los \u00faltimos 200 a\u00f1os. Sin embargo, esto no puede durar mucho tiempo, opina Mason. El precio de la\u00a0informaci\u00f3n inevitablemente va ser reducida a cero.<\/span><\/p>\n
