As\u00ed, el pasado mes de marzo fue uno de los m\u00e1s catastr\u00f3ficos en la historia de Vanuatu, un pa\u00eds insular del Pac\u00edfico considerado por las Naciones Unidas el m\u00e1s vulnerable ante los desastres naturales.<\/span><\/p>\n

El cicl\u00f3n Pam, catalogado como \u00abuno de los peores en la historia del Pac\u00edfico\u00bb, arras\u00f3 Vanuatu, causando numerosas v\u00edctimas y da\u00f1ando por lo menos un\u00a090% de los edificios<\/a> de Port Vila, capital del pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan las estimaciones de las Naciones Unidas, el cicl\u00f3n, <\/strong>con vientos de categor\u00eda 5 (hasta 270 kil\u00f3metros por hora), caus\u00f3 24 muertos y dej\u00f3 sin hogar a 3.300 personas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Este domingo, el Ministerio de Emergencias ruso complet\u00f3 la operaci\u00f3n de ayuda al pueblo de Vanuatu afectado por el cicl\u00f3n tropical. Dos aviones IL-76 entregaron al archipi\u00e9lago del Pac\u00edfico m\u00e1s de 60 toneladas de alimentos y otros productos de primera necesidad, seg\u00fan\u00a0la web<\/a> del Ministerio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyclone Pam, listed as \u00abone of the worst in the history of the Pacific\u00bb, swept Vanuatu, causing numerous casualties and damaging at least 90% of the buildings in Port Vila, capital of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to United Nations estimates, the cyclone, with winds of category 5 (up to 270 km \/ h), caused 24 deaths and 3,300 people left homeless.<\/span><\/p>\n

This Sunday, the Russian emergency Ministry completed the operation to help the people of Vanuatu affected by tropical cyclone. Two IL-76 aircraft delivered to the Pacific archipelago more than 60 tons of food and other products of first need, according to the website of the Ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n
