Investigadores de la Universidad de Nanjing han descubierto la primera ‘penicilina virol\u00f3gica’. La MIR2911, una mol\u00e9cula que se encuentra en la hierba china madreselva, ha conseguido frenar el avance de la gripe de tipo A en ratones<\/strong><\/span>

\nThe study, published in the journal ‘Nature’, establishes that Honeysuckle can prevent and reduce an influenza infection of type A: including H1N1, H5N1 and H7N9 strains.<\/span>

Honeysuckle, plant used in traditional Chinese medicine, has been usually consumed in the form of tea for centuries as a remedy against the flu virus, but never before has it had conducted a study that show its effectiveness with a scientific basis.<\/span>
