\nEl mayor obst\u00e1culo de la coalici\u00f3n liderada por EE.UU. contra el EI reside en que los pa\u00edses no quieren gastar recursos,<\/strong> ni aplicar las medidas necesarias. Cada pa\u00eds, empezando por EE.UU., persigue adem\u00e1s sus propios intereses geopol\u00edticos.<\/span>

\nSi EE.UU. quiere doblegar de verdad al Estado Isl\u00e1mico (EI), tendr\u00eda que enviar a la zona de conflicto tres veces m\u00e1s tropas terrestres que las fuerzas del EI<\/strong>, opina el presidente del Instituto ruso de Oriente Pr\u00f3ximo, Dmitri Satanovski, en el semanario ‘VPK’. Seg\u00fan \u00e9l, la coalici\u00f3n existente \u00abno tiene ninguna posibilidad de \u00e9xito\u00bb por dos razones: porque la coalici\u00f3n no est\u00e1 conformada por varios pa\u00edses importantes, y porque los pa\u00edses de la coalici\u00f3n, sobre todo EE.UU., anteponen sus propios intereses a la causa com\u00fan.<\/span>

El punto m\u00e1s d\u00e9bil de la coalici\u00f3n es que Turqu\u00eda no forma parte de ella. Precisamente, este pa\u00eds, que cuenta con un ej\u00e9rcito fuerte y linda con los territorios donde opera el EI en el norte de Irak, podr\u00eda jugar un papel clav<\/strong>e en la lucha contra los yihadistas. No uni\u00e9ndose a la coalici\u00f3n, Turqu\u00eda muestra que no representa una amenaza para al EI, si bien tampoco es su aliada. Por territorio turco pasa el tr\u00e1fico ilegal de petr\u00f3leo que vende el EI, as\u00ed como el flujo de yihadistas extranjeros que se unen al EI. Sin embargo, ello no quiere decir necesariamente que Turqu\u00eda apoye al EI, sino que el pa\u00eds sali\u00f3 de la zona de influencia de EE.UU., manteniendo lazos formales con EE.UU. en el marco de la OTAN, explica Satanovski.<\/span>

Otro pa\u00eds que cuenta con recursos para ayudar a combatir al EI es Ir\u00e1n, que tambi\u00e9n se qued\u00f3 fuera de la coalici\u00f3n. EE.UU. podr\u00eda usar a Ir\u00e1n no solamente en la lucha contra el EI,<\/strong> sino tambi\u00e9n para desplazar el petr\u00f3leo ruso del mercado europeo. Para ello EE.UU. tendr\u00eda que eliminar las sanciones impuestas al petr\u00f3leo iran\u00ed, pero en vez de ello prefiere seguir apoyando a Israel y a las \u00abmonarqu\u00edas ar\u00e1bigas\u00bb, yendo a remolque del Congreso, tradicionalmente agresivo hacia el pa\u00eds persa. Todo ello impide el desarrollo de cooperaci\u00f3n entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/span>

Israel tampoco se uni\u00f3 a la coalici\u00f3n, si bien se prepara para lanzar ataques contra los islamistas en los Altos de Gol\u00e1n<\/strong> y ha anunciado que apoyar\u00eda a Jordania en caso de amenaza por parte del EI. \u00abLa aparici\u00f3n de la nueva amenaza regional que representa el EI no cancela los conflictos anteriores\u00bb en la regi\u00f3n, explica el autor. Adem\u00e1s, las relaciones entre el primer ministro israel\u00ed, Benjam\u00edn Netanyahu, con el presidente estadounidense son tan tensas como las relaciones de Israel y EE.UU. con Turqu\u00eda.<\/span>

El ej\u00e9rcito de Egipto se mantiene ocupado en la lucha contra \u00abla clandestinidad islamista\u00bb dentro del pa\u00eds, por un lado, y contra las infiltraciones de milicianos islamistas desde Libia y Sud\u00e1n, por otro. La tercera mayor preocupaci\u00f3n para Egipto es Ham\u00e1s, en la pen\u00ednsula del Sina\u00ed, recuerda Satanovski. Sin embarg<\/strong>o, Egipto no puede no apoyar a Arabia Saudita en caso de que sea necesario, ya que, en condiciones de crisis econ\u00f3mica en Egipto, representa el principal respaldo para su econom\u00eda y armamento. Adem\u00e1s, Turqu\u00eda y Catar han declarado una \u00abguerra fr\u00eda\u00bb agresiva al presidente egipcio Abdel Fatah al-Sisi por derrocar a los hermanos musulmanes hace un a\u00f1o. En estas condiciones, Egipto podr\u00eda enviar a su ej\u00e9rcito para defender el territorio saudita, pero nunca se adentrar\u00eda en territorio de Irak, concluye Satanovski<\/span>

Otros pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes, como Jordania, Catar o Arabia Saudita, no van a enviar sus ej\u00e9rcitos a Irak, limit\u00e1ndose a la defensa de sus propias fronteras, como es el caso de Jordania. Algunos otros, como Catar y Arabia Saudita, prefieren sustituir al EI por sus propios radicales, financiando en particular al Frente al Nusra en Siria, y tambi\u00e9n buscando atraer a su lado a los milicianos del EI.<\/span>

A pesar de las declaraciones de que EE.UU. quiere combatir al EI, en realidad esto no le interesa tanto, piensa el autor. Por un lado, la Administraci\u00f3n de Obama est\u00e1 segura que el EI, en realidad, no representa ning\u00fan peligro para EE.UU., mientras que, por otro lado, a EE.UU. no le interesa que esta zona est\u00e9 libre de la amenaza del EI, explica el analista, ya que siempre que los pa\u00edses en Oriente Medio se sientan amenazados, la ayuda estadounidense, real o potencial, se volver\u00e1 vital para ellos. En lo tocante a las decapitaciones de los periodistas estadounidenses y al \u00abgenocidio\u00bb de pueblos como kurdos o yazid\u00edes por el EI, \u00abno se trata del primer genocidio ante el que EE.UU. prefiri\u00f3 hacer la vista gorda\u00bb, concluye<\/span>
