Ciudad del Vaticano, 23 marzo 2013 (VIS).- El Papa Francisco ha viajado esta ma\u00f1ana a Castel Gandolfo, a las doce en punto del mediod\u00eda, para ver y almorzar con Benedicto XVI. Y Joseph Ratzinger -el Papa que dej\u00f3 de serlo hace 23 d\u00edas al presentar su renuncia- le ha salido a esperar al helipuerto de Castel Gandolfo. Eran las 12.15 h de la ma\u00f1ana<\/span><\/p>\n

Nunca antes la Iglesia hab\u00eda vivido un encuentro as\u00ed. El de un Papa y un Papa em\u00e9rito.<\/strong> Era la primera vez que se ve\u00edan en esta condici\u00f3n, aunque hab\u00edan hablado ya varias veces por tel\u00e9fono. Hoy se trata de un \u00abencuentro privado\u00bb, que se celebra diez d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de ser elegido el nuevo Papa (el 266 de la historia de la Iglesia). Esto ha justificado que la Oficina de Prensa de la Santa Sede no haya facilitado las im\u00e1genes del hist\u00f3rico acontecimiento.<\/span><\/p>\n

La informaci\u00f3n facilitada por la Prefectura de la Casa Pontificia indicaba que el nuevo Papa saldr\u00eda en coche de la Casa Santa Marta -donde todav\u00eda vive provisionalmente- hacia las 11,45 h de esta ma\u00f1ana, y que cinco minutos m\u00e1s tarde, a las 11,50 h, un helic\u00f3ptero despegar\u00eda desde el helipuerto vaticano para aterrizar, a eso de las 12.10 h, en el tambi\u00e9n helipuerto de la Villa Pontificia de Castel Gandolfo. Las previsiones, sin embargo, se han retrasado algo, y el helic\u00f3ptero que trasporta al Papa ha llegado a la peque\u00f1a localidad cercana a Roma algunos minutos m\u00e1s tarde.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan los datos entregados por la Prefectura de la Casa Pontificia, en la pista de aterrizaje, adem\u00e1s de Benedicto XVI han recibido al Santo Padre Francisco, monse\u00f1or Marcello Semeraro, obispo de Albano y Saverio Petrillo, director de la Villa Pontificia de Castel Gandolfo.<\/span><\/p>\n
