En primer lugar, Monedero se refiri\u00f3 a la guerra medi\u00e1tica<\/a> contra el presidente Ch\u00e1vez<\/a> como \u201c\u00faltima instancia\u201d para llevar a cabo su \u201cestigmatizaci\u00f3n\u201d. \u201cIntentaron acabar con el presidente de todas las maneras que se hab\u00edan intentado en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de golpes de Estado, incapacitaciones, invalidaciones a trav\u00e9s de una contra, con desabastecimiento, etc., pero todas hab\u00edan sido in\u00fatiles en el caso de Venezuela\u201d, explica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Como ejemplo, Monedero menciona el caso en el que algunos medios espa\u00f1oles usaron la imagen de Ch\u00e1vez con un gorro mexicano y cantando una ranchera<\/strong> \u201ccomo una forma de acercarse a ese p\u00fablico\u201d para presentarlo \u201ccomo si fuera un buf\u00f3n\u201d en vez de mostrar su verdadero intento de acercarse al pueblo para \u201crecuperar a M\u00e9xico para el continente latinoamericano\u201d e integrarlo a la UNASUR<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Asimismo, explica que Ch\u00e1vez entendi\u00f3 que para luchar contra la invasi\u00f3n de EE.UU. de lo que consideraba su \u201cpatio trasero\u201d se necesita una nueva unidad latinoamericana y \u201cse puso en marcha\u201d y entonces consigui\u00f3 por un lado integrar al continente en una nueva l\u00f3gica<\/strong>, que a su vez \u201csirvi\u00f3 para reequilibrar el mapa mundial rompiendo con la hegemon\u00eda norteamericana y obligando de alguna manera a frenar ese comportamiento heredado de la guerra fr\u00eda donde el mundo se repart\u00eda en esferas de influencia\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
