Deforestation can<\/strong> cause a serious reduction in rainfall in the tropics,<\/strong> with serious consequences for the people not only in this region but in neighboring areas, said researchers at the University of Leeds in England, and the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology Council Environmental Research UK, NERC for its acronym in English<\/span><\/p>\n
