Los ni\u00f1os que sufren alergia alimentaria<\/a> a la leche y al huevo ya pueden ser tratados mediante un tratamiento que consiste en inducir artificialmente la tolerancia a estos<\/strong> alimentos mediante una pauta de desensibilizaci\u00f3n basada en la administraci\u00f3n de peque\u00f1as cantidades de leche o de huevo<\/strong>, que aumentan progresivamente hasta conseguir la cantidad de una toma habitual sin reacciones al\u00e9rgicas adversas<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta pauta, que se emplean en algunos hospitales en Espa\u00f1a, permite eliminar las reacciones al\u00e9rgicas<\/strong> a dos alimentos b\u00e1sicos, la leche y el huevo. En apenas dos meses, en el caso del huevo, y entre tres y cuatro, en el de la leche, los pacientes llegar\u00e1n a poder consumir un vaso de leche (200 ml) al d\u00eda o un huevo cada dos d\u00edas<\/strong> gracias a un tratamiento de desensibilizaci\u00f3n progresivo. \u00abLa calidad de vida de estos pacientes mejora sustancialmente<\/strong>\u00bb, asegura Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Goikoetxea, de la Cl\u00ednica Universidad de Navarra, centro donde tambi\u00e9n se aplica esta terapia<\/span><\/p>\n

El tratamiento <\/a>se viene aplicando en la Cl\u00ednica Universidad de Navarra<\/strong> desde primeros de 2012 y los resultados no pueden ser m\u00e1s positivos. \u00abSi pensamos en un ni\u00f1o o un adolescente, vemos que despu\u00e9s del tratamiento pueden comer bizcocho por la ma\u00f1ana, un huevo frito o un yogur por la noche<\/strong> por ejemplo y sobre todo no revisar las etiquetas de todos los productos que consumen, cuando eran pacientes que no pod\u00edan consumir nada que tuviese leche o huevo\u00bb, a\u00f1ade Goikoetxea<\/span><\/p>\n

El paciente, una vez llegado a este punto, debe saber que este alimento que antes era una enfermedad se convierte tambi\u00e9n en su curaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, pero para ello, debe consumirlo casi a diario. Seg\u00fan explica la doctora Goikoetxea, \u00abesta ser\u00eda la fase de mantenimiento<\/strong>, es decir, el paciente debe tomar una vaso de leche al d\u00eda y tres huevos a la semana porque si eliminamos el est\u00edmulo de la leche o el huevo, podr\u00edamos perder la tolerancia\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n
