Las emisiones de CO<sub>2<\/sub> se producen cuando se quema combustible, ya sea en grandes centrales el\u00e9ctricas, en motores de autom\u00f3viles, o en sistemas de calefacci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n pueden producirse emisiones mediante otros procesos industriales, por ejemplo cuando se extraen y se procesan los recursos o cuando se queman los bosques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">La captura y almacenamiento de di\u00f3xido de carbono (CAC) es una de las t\u00e9cnicas que podr\u00edan utilizarse para reducir las emisiones de CO<sub>2<\/sub> provocadas por las actividades humanas.
