Esta vegetaci\u00f3n semi-natural provee\u00a0 gran parte del forraje durante todo el a\u00f1o al ganado.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Los sistemas pastorales tienen un alto valor natural porque el pastoralismo ha creado y mantenido h\u00e1bitats semi-naturales en amplias \u00e1reas como son:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">los c\u00e9spedes alpinos<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">brezales, tojales<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">c\u00e9spedes calc\u00e1reos, neutros o \u00e1cido<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">pastizales de siega y humedales <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Dentro de estos h\u00e1bitats, las pr\u00e1cticas pastorales con un\u00a0 pastoreo\u00a0 de baja intensidad crea\u00a0 diversidad en la estructura y composici\u00f3n de la vegetaci\u00f3n, proporcionando nichos que permiten que existan un amplio n\u00famero de especies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0 La comisi\u00f3n Europea en su <em>\u201c<\/em><strong><em>biodiversity Plan for<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Agriculture<\/em><\/strong>\u201d apoya estos m\u00e9todos de producc\u00f3n \u00a8extensiva :\u00a0 as\u00ed dice :<strong><em>El mantenimiento de la <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>biodiversidad de la flora en pastizales seminaturales\u00a0 se debe al pastoreo.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: situaciones hist\u00f3ricas, ciertos paisajes que han <strong>sufrido cambios<\/strong> importante no puedan ser regenerados de nuevo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">No podemos ignorar esta realidad y dejarnos llevar por <strong>sentimentalismos hist\u00f3ricos<\/strong> a la hora de abordar la biodiversidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pero mirando hac\u00eda atr\u00e1s no resolveremos los problemas del ma\u00f1ana, porque se han producido\u00a0 cambios en las condiciones generales , tanto econ\u00f3micas, como ecol\u00f3gicas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Un mero acercamiento hist\u00f3rico nos conducir\u00e1 a una cultura del <strong>paisaje como museo<\/strong>, pero ser\u00e1 una v\u00eda muerta.<strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">En la opini\u00f3n de RIECKEN et al. 2002), <strong>es necesario<\/strong> <strong>volver la vista <\/strong><strong>hac\u00eda atr\u00e1s<\/strong> al pasado hist\u00f3rico, especialmente para poder entender las razones hist\u00f3ricas y aprender lo fundamental de los procesos que han tenido lugar.<strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size:
