\nCENTRAL EDITORIAL, Oct. 15 \/ 11:10 am (ACI) .- Saint Faustina Kowalska, to whom the Lord of Divine Mercy appeared, one day she asked the Lord for whom she should pray; Some time later, God allowed her to see purgatory, hell and heaven with a message for all human beings.<\/span>

1. Purgatory<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nOne night, the saint recounts, hers Guardian Angel asked her to follow him and suddenly she found herself in a place full of fire and suffering souls. They were praying fervently for themselves, \u00abbut it was not valid, only we can help them,\u00bb said Santa Faustina.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nShe asked the souls what made them suffer the most and they answered that it was feeling abandoned by God. She then saw the Virgin Mary visiting the souls in purgatory, who called her \u00abStar of the Sea\u00bb. Then her Guardian Angel asked her to return and when she left that prison of suffering, she heard the voice of the Lord who told her: \u00abMy Mercy does not want this, but my Justice asks for it.\u00bb<\/span>

\n2. Hell<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIn an eight-day retreat that Saint Faustina Kowalska lived in October 1936, she saw the abyss of hell with several of her torments. She then wrote what she was allowed to see at the request of Christ himself..<\/span>

\u00abI was carried by an Angel into the abyss of hell. It is a place of great torment. How terribly great and extensive it is! The kinds of tortures I saw: The first is the privation of God; the second is the perpetual remorse of conscience ; the third is that one’s condition will never change; the fourth is the fire that penetrates the soul without destroying it – a terrible suffering, since it is purely spiritual fire, – ignited by the wrath of God\u00bb, described the saint.<\/span>

Likewise, she pointed out that the fifth torture is a continuous darkness with a terrible suffocating smell and that despite the darkness, the souls of the damned are seen among them.<\/span>
\n……………<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe sixth is the constant company of Satan; the seventh is horrible anguish, hatred of God, indecent words and blasphemy. These are the torments suffered by the damned, but it is not the end of suffering. There are special torments intended for particular souls. These are the torments of the senses. Each soul goes through terrible and indescribable sufferings, related to the type of sin it has committed.<\/span>

On the other hand she indicated that there are caverns and torture pits where each form of agony differs from the other. \u201cI would have died at every sight of torture \u2013 she explained Saint Faustina \u2013 if the Omnipotence of God had not supported me. I am writing this by order of God, so that no soul finds an excuse saying that there is no hell, or that no one has been there and therefore no one can describe it.\u00bb<\/span>

3. Heaven<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On November 27, 1936, the saint wrote a vision of heaven, in which she could see its incomparable beauties, the happiness that awaits us after death and how all creatures praise and give thanks to God without ceasing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nShe indicated that this source of happiness is unchanging in its essence, but is always new, pouring out happiness for all creatures. \u201cGod has made me understand that there is one thing of infinite value in his eyes, and that is, the love of God; love, love and again love, and nothing can be compared to a single act of love for God\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn the same way, she recounted that \u201cGod in his great majesty is adored by the celestial spirits, according to their degrees of grace and hierarchies into which they are divided, it did not cause me fear or fright; my soul was full of peace and love; and the more I know of the greatness of God, the more glad I am that He is who He is.\u201d<\/span>

\n\u00abI rejoice immensely in his greatness and I am glad that I am so small, since being so small, He carries me in his arms and squeezes me to his heart\u00bb, said Saint Faustina<\/span><\/p>\n
