1486 (82) Dialogue between the merciful God and the desperate soul.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: Oh soul submerged in darkness, do not despair, not all is lost yet, speak with your God who is Love and Mercy Itself. But, unfortunately, the soul remains deaf to God’s call and plunges into even greater darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus calls again: Alma, listen to the voice of your merciful Father.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The answer awakens in the soul: For me there is no mercy. And she falls into even more dense darkness, into a kind of despair that gives her the anticipated sensation of hell and makes her completely incapable of approaching God.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus speaks to the soul for the third time, but the soul is deaf and blind, it begins to assert itself in hardness and despair. Then in a certain way the bowels of God’s mercy begin to strive and without any cooperation on the part of the soul, God gives him the definitive grace of him. If he despises her, God leaves her already in the state in which she wants to remain for eternity. This grace comes from the merciful Heart of Jesus and reaches the soul with its light and the soul begins to understand (83) God’s effort, but conversion depends on it. She knows that this grace is the last for her and if she shows a single glimmer of goodwill even the smallest, God’s mercy will do the rest.<\/span><\/p>\n

[Jesus]: The omnipotence of My mercy acts here, happy is the soul that takes advantage of this grace.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: With how much joy My Heart is filled when you return to Me. I see you very weak, therefore I take you in My own arms and take you to My Father’s house.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The soul as if it were awakening: Is it possible that there is still mercy for me? Question full of fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: Precisely you, My child, have the exclusive right to My mercy. Allow My mercy to act in you, in your poor soul; let the rays of grace enter your soul, they will introduce light, warmth and life.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The soul: However, fear invades me just when I remember my sins and this terrible fear pushes me to doubt Your goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: You must know, oh soul, that all your sins have not hurt My heart as painfully as your current distrust. After so many efforts of My (84) love and My mercy, you do not trust My goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The soul: Oh Lord, save me Yourself, because I am perishing; be my Savior. Oh Lord, I am not able to say anything else, my poor heart is torn, but You, Lord\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus does not allow the soul to finish these words, he lifts it from the ground, from the abyss of misery and in a single instant introduces it to the abode of his own Heart, and all sins disappear [374] in the blink of an eye, destroyed by the burning of love.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: Behold, oh soul, all the treasures of My Heart, take from it everything you need.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The soul: Oh Lord, I feel flooded by Your grace, I feel that a new life has entered me and, above all, I feel Your love in my heart, that is enough for me. O Lord, for all eternity I will glorify the omnipotence of Your mercy; animated by Your goodness. I will express to you all the pain in my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Jesus: Say everything, girl, without any qualms, because the Heart that loves you listens to you, the Heart of your best friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Oh Lord, now I see all my ingratitude and Your goodness. You persecuted me with Your grace and I frustrated all Your efforts; I see that I have deserved (85) the very bottom of hell for having wasted Your graces<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

esus interrupts the words of the soul and [says]: Do not plunge into your misery, you are too weak to speak; rather look at My Heart full of goodness, absorb My feelings and seek sweetness and humility. Be merciful to others as I am merciful to you and when you notice that your strength is weakening, come to the Source of Mercy and strengthen your soul, and you will not stop on the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The soul: Now I understand Your mercy that protects me like a luminous cloud and leads me to my Father’s house, saving me from the terrible hell that I have deserved not once but a thousand times.
