Debido a que gran parte de los cultivos depende de las abejas, su desaparici\u00f3n es motivo de alarma mundial. No en vano, un organismo de la ONU preocupado por el futuro del sistema alimentario mundial ya lleva a cabo una evaluaci\u00f3n de la polinizaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Se estima que un 75% de los cultivos que se producen al a\u00f1o en todo el mundo depende de la polinizaci\u00f3n de insectos<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, raz\u00f3n por la que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha disparado la alarma por la desaparici\u00f3n de abejas<\/a> en algunas partes del planeta. Tanto es as\u00ed, que la Plataforma Intergubernamental sobre Biodiversidad y Servicios de los Ecosistemas (IPBES) de la ONU, creada en Panam\u00e1 en 2012, ha decidido llevar a cabo su primer estudio sobre la polinizaci\u00f3n y la producci\u00f3n de alimentos en el mundo.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
