Pero, en realidad, poseen <strong>una amenaza mucho mayor<\/strong> que los cultivos transg\u00e9nicos porque impactan directamente sobre los bosques naturales que son esenciales para la vida de nuestro planeta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">La mayor parte de la <strong>modificaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de los<\/strong> \u00e1rboles forestales ha sido realizada con la transferencia de DNA <strong>mediado por Agrobacterium<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Cuatro caracter\u00edsticas se reportan para <strong>el 80% de las aplicaciones de permisos<\/strong>: <strong>tolerancia a herbicidas<\/strong> (32%), <strong>marcadores de genes<\/strong> (27%), <strong>resistencia a insectos<\/strong> (12%) <strong>y modificaci\u00f3n de lignina (<\/strong>9%). De las especies de \u00e1rboles involucradas, Populus, Pinus, Liquidambar (\u00c1rbol de goma dulce) y <strong>Eucalyptus representan el 85% de las aplicaciones<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>El reemplazo de los bosques por plantaciones de \u00e1rboles GM provocar\u00e1 un desastre ecol\u00f3gico<\/strong> para nuestro planeta, especialmente ahora que el calentamiento global se est\u00e1 acelerando dram\u00e1ticamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Los \u00e1rboles transg\u00e9nicos condenan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Los \u00e1rboles GM <strong>est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para plantaciones enormes de monocultivos<\/strong>, pero <strong>constituyen una amenaza a los ecosistemas forestales<\/strong> naturales biodiversos. Las denominaciones que ponen las comunidades locales a las plantaciones industriales son reveladoras <strong>El eucalipto es el \u00ab\u00e1rbol ego\u00edsta\u00bb porque sus plantaciones remueven nutrientes del suelo y consumen tanta agua que los campesinos no pueden cultivar arroz en los campos adyacentes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&#8230;&#8230;..<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Los \u00e1rboles transg\u00e9nicos violan los convenios internacionales<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">los \u00e1rboles transg\u00e9nicos en particular son una clara violaci\u00f3n del Convenio de Diversidad Biol\u00f3gica, el cual obliga a los gobiernos a ejecutar el principio de precauci\u00f3n para los OGMs <strong>que puedan causar da\u00f1os graves a la biodiversida<\/strong>d.
